Check in at Domestic house Lola in the center of Vukovar in the afternoon. We suggest a leisurely walk along the Danube along the promenade that stretches from Luka to Mitnica and is 2.5 km long. Optionally, you can rent bicycles for free in the facility and ride along the Danube or stay in the center and drink a coffee. This is followed by dinner in the pleasant atmosphere of the Lola restaurant, which can start with a glass of brandy and end with fine wine and dessert.

Saturday

After breakfast, a guide and organized transport will take you to Ilok. Near Ilok, you will visit the country estate Principovac, from whose landscaped hill you can see the entire Ilok region. Then you come to Ilok, the easternmost town in Croatia located on the Danube. It is a city with a long history, as evidenced by the numerous finds located in the Odescalchi Castle - the Museum of the City of Ilok. The medieval city center, the sanctuary, church and monastery of St. John of Kapistran together with the Castle are historically significant locations that you will visit. Ilok has been a town of vineyards and wine since ancient Roman times. In 1899, the Royal Viticulture School was founded in Ilok. The Ilok vineyard is known for its excellent wines, of which Ilok Traminac is the most famous. Apart from our country, it is famous all over the world and is part of the wine shop of the English royal court. This is followed by a tour of the Ilok vineyards with a professionally guided wine tasting. After you've warmed up with fine drops and you're probably hungry, you'll go for lunch at the Stari podrum restaurant. The menu includes fish and meat dishes with a glass of wine and dessert. After lunch, you will set off on the way to the Vučedol Culture Museum, which will delight you at first, second and third glance with its distinctive architecture. The Vučedol archaeological site is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Europe and a significant site of a culture that occupied the area of today's twelve European countries during the Eneolithic period, in the third millennium BC. It is located in the authentic location of Vučedol, the origin of Vučedol culture. The most famous exhibit in the museum is certainly the Vučedol dove, a ceramic vessel from the archaeological excavations in Vučedol. Modeled in the shape of a partridge, it has become one of the most recognizable symbols of the city of Vukovar, near which Vučedol is based. After visiting the museum, we will go to dinner at the Goldsmith vineyard house, which is located in the heart of the vineyard in the most romantic location possible. For dinner, we suggest  „teletinu ispod peke“ with a glass of wine and dessert. Return to the hotel.

Sunday

Breakfast and check out. A leisurely walk through the city centre to Eltz Castle, which houses the Vukovar City Museum. A visit to a famous city pastry shop for ice cream. On the way back home, we suggest a visit to the Vukovar Water Tower. This is a symbol of the suffering and resistance of the city of Vukovar during the Homeland War.
